A medium-weight to heavyweight fabric. It has a repeat pattern of 16 wearp and 16 filling yarns and originally required 16 harness, the yarns are either made of stable or filament. Float is less or at two yarns in length. Sand crepe is now made using electronic dobby or jacquard looms. |  |
